1. Take chances that make you feel uncomfortable.
The moment you doubt whether you can do something, you cease forever to be able to do it. Don’t be afraid to feel uncomfortable. Don’t be afraid to look uneasy and a little silly in front of others.
Running around in your underwear isn’t the solution we’re talking about here, although I’m sure that would feel uncomfortable and look pretty silly. What we are talking about is growing your inner strength and building your confidence by occasionally putting yourself in situations where you are forced to overcome new and unknown obstacles.
It’s all about your commitment to learning, adapting and growing. Decide that your visions and goals are more important than your self-imposed limitations. Dare to try. Step outside of your comfort zone. Believe you can and you’re halfway there.
2. Fail fast and fail often.
You must encounter many defeats to learn how to not be defeated. Failing is a process of learning; it helps you grow and know who you are, what you can rise from, and how you can still rise after you fall. It is this process that boosts your confidence gradually over the course of your lifetime.
You have to remember that it doesn’t matter how many times you fail or how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop taking steps forward. In the end, those who don’t care that failure is inevitable are the ones that most often achieve success.
3. Be wrong and be OK with it.
You don’t have to always be right, you just have to not be too worried about being wrong.
Just like occasional failures, being wrong from time to time is inevitable. People who take the position of always being right aren’t confident, they’re cocky. They think they know everything and they want you to know it too. Ironically, their need to always be right imprisons them from being able to learn from their mistakes.
To build true confidence, you have to not mind being wrong. You have to take a stand, and then admit it if and when you realize your standpoint is wrong. It’s a process of trial and error that helps you discover what IS right. And finding out what is right is a lot more important than always being right.
Bottom line: When you’re wrong, admit it and be secure enough to back down graciously, adjust and carry on.
Simple joys in life. From now on, I will write and focus on something good what my husband did for me in a day. To start with …
Last Monday, he went home early and I didnt prepare for dinner yet. We went to mart and he told me he will cook spaghetti for our dinner. ^^ Thank you for the yummy spag oppa~~^^ ♥♥♥ and for the massage and 뜸.kk
Tuesday - Though he went home a little late and I was not feeling well. I sent him message if he can buy some porridge and hot choco for me when he goes home. When he arrived home , he handed pumpkin porridge, hot choco and fried chicken from Mini Stop. Thank you oppa~~~^^ And he put some 뜸 on my back. Kkk~~ Let’s be appreciative with what our partner showed us. It may be a simple thing but it make our heart BIG aw hehehe.. love love love~~
Love this hand cream from The Face Shop Korea. It smells so gooood and it’s non -greasy.. Actually I got this for free when I purchased in their store few months ago. Am not into hand creams but I do apply body lotion everyday but since weather is getting colder now and my hands are getting drier and drier I think it is time for me to use this and I love the result. I need to take care of my body now coz sometimes I get tired and bot so patient on applying creams or anything especially on my face. Kkkk. If I am in a good mood that is only the time when I can sit infront of the mirror apply creams or mask packs on my face hehe. Sometimes I forgot hehe. My husband is the one reminding me to put some lotion on my face or mask packs. Hehehe. Thesedays I am suffering from acnes and it is maybe due to stress, hormonal or maybe because I sleep late.. T.T I need to change this attitude. I want to be fit and healthy. Look good and feel good inside and out hehehe..
bored lang hehehehe
Ansan Lake Park. Late post. Date with my inlaws and nephew last summer.
It was a huge park. If you want to lose some pounds taking some walk around the park can definitely help solve your problem hehehe plus you can enjoy the scenery of the park.
My favorite Bakery/Bread shop in Korea . Paris Baguette
Take a Walk
Even when money is tight, your dating life doesn’t have to take a hit. There are plenty of excellent dating ideas that will only cost you a few bucks, and some that won’t even cost you a cent. Take advantages of all these great ideas!
One of the oldest, simplest, and cheapest dates just requires your own two feet. Just take a walk with your date around your neighborhood, or go for a hike through the woods if you’re feeling adventurous. You’ll have plenty of time to talk, take in the scenery, and get some light exercise. Don’t underestimate this cheap and effective date.
Eat a Home-Cooked Meal
When we typically think of a dinner date, most of us imagine a romantic candlelit restaurant with French waiters and expensive food. Unfortunately, too many of those dinners will make you go broke in no time. The good news is that a home-cooked meal can actually be even more fun and romantic, and it costs a fraction of the price. You can either choose to prepare the meal as a surprise for your sweetheart or make the meal together. Either way is guaranteed to be a hit.
Have a Movie Night
Going to see the latest and greatest film at the theater is always a treat, but the rising prices of tickets and concessions have pushed the cost of a date upwards of $40. Instead of spending this ludicrous amount of money, make your own movie night at home for pennies on the dollar. Simply rent a movie from a Redbox or stream one online from any number of sources. Complete the experience by making microwave popcorn and buying a bag of candy from the store. If you have the time, you can even make it a double feature.
Rainy Satuday and I’m bored.. Not feeling well coz I have bad colds since yeaterday. I’m now here again sitting infront of the computer and suddenly I just wanted to post some random facts about me. kkk~~
To start with… For those who didn’t know my real name.. I am Charisse Ana Marie Buendia. My friends called me Cha for short. My family and some of my close friends call me ” Ateng”. Maybe some of you are wondering why Mimi???
It all started with my doll whom I named Mimi..Actually that small doll was my sis’s. That was my father’s 1st birthday gift to her and up to now Mimi is still alive but without ears… hahhaha.. We named it Mimi because that doll looks like a cat. :)))) Since Mimi looks like a cat, my sis decided to call me Mimi too because I really love Hello Kitty and did I mention I love cats?? kkk. My sis told me I look like one hahahaha.. And the rest is history..
Who is Mimi, by the way??
- I’m just a simple person with a lot of ambition in life. Yes, too many.hahaha.ambituos lng ang peg. hahaha.
- I am married to a Korean and blessed with one son. ^^
I love smiling at people even if I don’t know them but since I came here in Korea I become snob.haha. not that snob I mean you know I’m just being so careful with the people whom I encounter everytime I go outside… This is a foreign country and I should be more careful.
I love pizza, pasta, spaghetti, ice cream, chicken, Kimchi, apples, oranges and bananas :D
I love taking pictures, going to park, museums ( where I can learn something) I love history but I’m too lazy to read those thick books so I believe going to museums is fun at the same time you’re learning something ^^
I love travelling. My dream is to travel the world. Australia,Japan, Europe, HongKong/Macau, Thailand, Vietnam. But I want to explore first the beauty of my country.. Ilocos, Baguio, Tagaytay,Palawan,Boracay,Cebu, Bohol and a lot more…. ^____________________^
I eat a lot but I’m afraid to get fat. :D
I exercise a lot when I am in a good mood to achieve those abs hahhahaha. joke..
I’m very sensitive and I don’t easily trust people. But once I trust you, mind you hahaha. :))
I don’t smoke, drink in short I don’t have vices. I don’t like going out partying. Do you think my life is boring?? Well, think again hehehe. I have my own way how to make my life happy.. I am happy beside with my family and husband. That’s it. I go out with my friends when I was still in Phils but I don’t go home late. For me 9pm is late. hahhaa so before 9pm I should be home. I need to be home. hehehehe. I like spending more time with my family. ^_^
I love going to the beach but I hate too much sun exposure. hehehe. ]
For fashion, I like shoes and bags~~ cute skirts and blouses. I like RED lipstick and pink blushes, BB Creams and face powders. I am not really a fan of eye shodows. I like mascara and eyeliner. I can say I’m not fashionable but I admire people who loves fashion. ^^ As long as I am comfortable with what I am wearing I’m fine with that. ^^
These are just few random facts about me. ^^ I want to write as many as I can but since I am not feeling well, I will write again next time.
This post was a bout a year ago, and I forgot to post it on my blog hahahaha. I miss Incheon so much. I want to go there and live there again… I love Incheon. It was my forst hometown when I arrived in Korea last Feb 2011. We used to live near the airport and I really love the place. This was our first time together to ride the free shuttle bus in our area. It was really fun (fun for me) haha coz my husband didn’t want to ride a bus or a subway he prefers to drive but since Incheon airport is just a few minutes from our place so I convinced him to ride a shuttle bus kkk~
When we arrived at the airport, we just walked around and we knew that CGV Cinema was already open since January 14,2012.. Only 2 theaters are available…
Puss in Boots and Mission Impossible 4 was showing that time. We didn’t watched movie though.. We just had a cup of coffee and bought something at Paris Baguette located on the 3rd floor. Then, we went upstairs and it was my first time to go there. That area is full of restaurants and buffet. Even if I go to the airport more often, everytime I go there I dicovered something new which I didn’t see or noticed because Incheon airport is so huge. It is the 2nd largest aiport in the world and received lots of awards. This time we were on the 3rd floor and we can see Incheon airport Duty Free. The LV store welcomes me.. hahahha.
Only passengers are allowed to go inside and shop. ^^
How I miss going to airport when I am bored. :-( We live in Ansan now and I seldom go outside. :-(
Coffee and Photo Studio
